Refund Policy

Our billing policies, early bird pricing, and refund guidelines for .envKeys subscriptions.

No Refund Policy

We charge you for access to .envKeys in monthly and annual plans. Due to the nature of our product and the security infrastructure required to maintain zero-knowledge encryption, we currently do not offer refunds, either partial or in full.

Subscription Cancellation

You can easily cancel your subscription at any time you like. We will no longer charge you anything once you cancel your subscription. Your access to the service will continue until the end of your current billing period.

Free Plan

.envKeys offers a free plan with limited features (1 project, 3 .env files per project, 24-hour maximum expiration). We encourage you to try our free plan before committing to a paid subscription to ensure our service meets your needs.

Early-Bird and Promotional Pricing

Current Early-Bird Pricing:

  • Monthly Pro Plan: $2.99/month
  • Annual Pro Plan: $29.99/year (equivalent to $2.50/month)

From time to time, we may offer promotional or early-bird pricing. These special offers are subject to the same no-refund policy. Once you subscribe at a promotional rate, the rate will be honored for the specified period, after which regular pricing may apply.

Early-bird subscribers lock in these rates for the duration of their continuous subscription.

Service Limitations Understanding

By subscribing to .envKeys, you acknowledge that you understand our service limitations:

  • Free Plan: Limited to 1 project and 3 .env files per project
  • Pro Plan: Unlimited projects and files with extended features
  • All shared links have expiration limits and cannot be recovered after expiration
  • Zero-knowledge encryption means we cannot recover lost or forgotten data

Exceptions

While we maintain a strict no-refund policy, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. If you believe your situation warrants special consideration, please contact our customer support team at [email protected]. Each case will be reviewed individually, but please note that any exceptions are made at our sole discretion.

Possible exceptions may include:

  • Technical failures on our part that prevent service access
  • Billing errors or duplicate charges
  • Service outages exceeding 48 hours

Billing Errors

If you believe that your account has been charged incorrectly, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate the matter and work to resolve any legitimate billing errors promptly.

Common billing issues we can resolve:

  • Duplicate charges
  • Incorrect plan charges
  • Currency conversion errors
  • Payment processor errors

Data Loss Protection

While we maintain robust security measures and backup systems, we cannot guarantee against all forms of data loss. Our zero-knowledge encryption means we cannot recover your environment variables if they are lost. We recommend keeping your own backups of important environment variables.
